StormLeaf is a project I started because the existing tools didn't quite fit how I work. I needed something that stayed out of the way, stored data locally, and didn't require a subscription or an account.
I work in software during the day and spend time on amateur-related projects in the evenings and weekends. StormLeaf came out of notes and scripts I had accumulated and decided to clean up and share.
This site
The site is static HTML, served by nginx. No analytics, no tracking scripts, no cookies. The font is system-default. Pages load fast because there's nothing to load.
